yoooo,
i'm trying something new — a segment called "class notes."
the idea is simple:
i share my notes on whatever i'm learning, reading, or watching. not a summary. not a review, either. just my actual notes, organized and annotated, so you can learn alongside me.
first up: on tyranny by timothy snyder.
over the last year or two, i’ve literally heard the word "fascist" get thrown around more than the word “literally” — by both sides of the political spectrum — and i realized i didn't know what it actually meant.
so i picked up this tiny but mighty book on how authoritarian regimes have historically consolidated power, and what citizens can do about it. whether you lean left, right, or nowhere in particular — it's worth understanding how democracies fall.
talk soon,
